It’s not about what you do, but who you are in Christ.  Who you are in Christ will lead you to follow Him and obey, and those actions are worship.  Our obedient acts are one way – we do not seek to hold to those as our salvation, but instead to look and give them to Him who gave and gives us all good things for our daily mercy and bread, to His Glory and Honor forever.

At Seaside, we believe God desires us to raise up disciples of Him, who know who He is and the great work He has done in our lives, so that we can live in response to that - using each and every person to proclaim the Gospel of Christ Jesus, and in turn disciple and train others for the ongoing work of the harvest.

Training is what happens when we learn how to live, then share and walk with others, with the purpose of them coming, if He wills, to a knowledge and trust of God and the work of Christ unto salvation. We believe we all have a role to play in the time we have been given, and we should make the most of it, to the Glory of God our Father.  We want to teach others who He is, so they might Worship Him, and be brought into Community through the work of Jesus.

God is our heavenly Father and we are His sons and daughters; this makes us family. But people are hurting and are sometimes distorted in their views as to what family is. We believe we have a responsibility to present family as God intended it to look and operate. We desire to walk with each other through the process of growing and shepherding families young and old at Seaside.

Relationships just don’t come easy and this includes within the body of Christ. We are constantly redefining how we are receiving people, what we are doing to train people, and how we are going about sharing and living out the gospel as a church  Community in Kauai and beyond. Our hope is that, through Christ, we will love authentically as the church and that this love will work to transform the communities around us.
