Why We Exist:

To see God glorified through:

Planting/Growing This Church – It’s been 8+ years since the foundation for Seaside Church started with a few families meeting in community centers and on the Olympic College campus in Bremerton WA. We since have seen many hearts restored, many marriages strengthened, and many children brought into the world to hear the good news from parents who love Jesus.

In late 2011, the Elders at Seaside felt the pull to start another Community, another place where a Community of Grace could thrive and grow.  We desire to see a diverse group of people and interest groups join this Community, so we can build relationships with them, with the hope of bringing them to a greater and saving knowledge of the great God that we worship and love. We realize that this is not easy, and that we must be a people who live in a way that He can work powerfully and actively through us, changing our hearts and lives in order to see other's lives and hearts changed. Hebrews says that the builder of all things is God, and much as we have seen Him work in the building of this community and renovating this building, we are seeking that He would do the same through us to the community around us, being worshippers of God who are bringing others to worship Him, to the glory of God.

Our taproots are in the Word, Prayer, and Discipleship. More on that can be found here.

Seaside Kauai will utilize localized Communities that meet weekly throughout the area to foster deeper relationships where prayer, teaching, support, and encouragement can happen. We will also have a variety of groups and gatherings that the folks at Seaside are involved in throughout the area.  Our calling and desire is to see the body thriving, learning more and more about who we are in Christ, learning how to live out our lives in response to that.

Partnerships – In obedience to Matthew 28 our External Ministries are about serving the people on the the island of Kauai and beyond. Many organizations are far more specialized in meeting specific needs with this community and we need to recognize their efforts and come alongside of them, partnering and serving with them as part of the work of God in this community and around the world. More info over here - Partnerships.

Gathering Start-ups/Seeding – Until we meet Jesus face-to-face we are to be going to and being imbedded in the culture with His gospel message. God continues to call and send His people and the church is called to be the means by which people are trained, equipped, sent, and supported. We are committed to not only to this local church but also in supporting other churches, both those who are starting and established bodies of believers throughout the area. We currently partner, through Seaside, with Josh & Erin Gilbert @ Trademark Church in Boise, with a plant in Baltimore, Freedom Church, being planted by Rob and Beth Steinbach & with Shaun & Daisy Garman who are planting Seed Church in Ventura CA. We have also supported a international church planting effort in Guatmala. More info on our Partnerships page.

If you are looking to worship God within a Gospel-centered fellowship, we'd love to have you be a part of Seaside Kauai. There is nothing that compares to the privilege of being used to expand the Kingdom and of representing Jesus Christ to the people of Kauai and beyond.   Send us an email - kauai@seasidechurch.com so we can keep you in the loop as we move toward launching gatherings in 2013.
